We feel certain that you will enjoy, as much as we have, the opportunity to work with children and adults in our Therapeutic Horseback Program! Our Therapeutic Riding Program depends on the dedication of our volunteer corps. Volunteering is a rewarding and educational experience. There are many different types of jobs you can help with at EQUI-KIDS. We offer volunteer training sessions to help you learn more about our students and horses. Please view the calendar for volunteer training dates. You may contact our office at 425-8833 or by email if you have any additional questions or you wish to register for a training session.

INSTRUCTORS NEEDED!

EQUI-KIDS is currently searching for people who may be interested in obtaining their certification to teach riding lessons. Our instructor quota is down and we would like to encourage any current volunteers who feel that they may be interested in finding out more about the NARHA certification process to contact the office. Besides the weekly lesson program, teaching opportunities also include the School Partnership Program in the mornings, summer camp and attending shows throughout the year. The NARHA process involves an open-book test, videotaping of classes, CPR certification and a riding demonstration and can take up to six months to complete. Call Barbe at the office if you are interested in becoming certified (425-8833).
